The Nidderdale and District Amateur Cricket League has confirmed that Kettlewell Fuels will continue as the main sponsor of its Junior Cricket League, providing a three-year sponsorship package that will help to support junior players in the local area.

Part of the larger Nidderdale and District Amateur Cricket League, the Junior Cricket League is made up of Nidderdale-based cricket clubs, with 28 clubs entering junior teams, including new entries Bilton in Ainsty and Thorpe Arch and Boston Spa (TABS).

North Yorkshire’s trusted independent heating and fuel oil supplier has been supporting cricket in the region for many years, more recently providing sponsorship for this grassroots cricket league.

League spokesperson Ken Coad said: “It is with great pleasure that I can announce a new three-year sponsorship deal has been agreed between the Nidderdale Junior Cricket League and Kettlewell Fuels. I would like to thank all those involved for their continuance of our sponsorship arrangement. Preparations to get our juniors out there on the pitch and enjoying this wonderful game again are well underway for the season ahead.”

Commenting on the sponsorship, Kettlewell Fuels Managing Director Stuart Illingworth said: “It's a great honour to support the Nidderdale Junior Cricket League and all that the league does to promote and encourage junior cricket throughout the county. We're very much looking forward to the start of the 2023 season.
